Chef Manny is a spice expert, and a culinary enthusiast with over 19 years of experience cooking Asian, Italian, and American cuisines from scratch and merging his love of global spices and herbs with fresh local produce, organic meats, and international cheeses to create both traditional and new dishes. From simple ingredients, Chef Manny adds various blends of herbs and spices, to make loads of flavor.

Chef Manny learned about spices by gardening with his maternal grandmother in her urban garden in St. Paul, Minnesota. From his gardening days to his days in his commercial kitchen Chef Manny creates flavors by doing what he calls playing with his food and merging various herbs and spices. Chef Manny adds tons of flavor from an Italian Spaghetti dinner to a Rack of lamb.

As the executive chef of Shear Taste, he sources the spices preps the food, and cooks it. One of the few executive chefs still cooking, Chef Manny continues to prefer to spend his time in his commercial kitchen creating dishes and adding more flavor to traditional ones
